About the Conference
The 2nd International Conference of Maritime Transportation and Innovation (ICMTI 2027) welcomes researchers, industry professionals, policymakers and practitioners to Bangkok, Thailand, on 16–19 August 2027. Building on the conversations begun at the inaugural ICMTI in 2026, the conference offers an international forum to exchange research findings, share practical experience and explore new directions for maritime transportation.
Our industry is navigating profound change. Decarbonisation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence and increasingly connected supply chains create new possibilities, alongside urgent questions of safety, reliability and resilience. Addressing these challenges requires more than technology alone: it calls for rigorous research, practical insight and collaboration across disciplines and borders.
Through academic presentations, discussion and professional exchange, ICMTI 2027 aims to bring ideas closer to application and build connections that last beyond the conference. We invite participants to question assumptions, learn from one another and help shape maritime transportation systems that are safer, smarter, greener and more resilient.
